We’re thrilled to welcome you to Booker T. Washington Community Service Center’s Inaugural BLOOM BALL at Hotel Nikko on Thursday, September 19th, 2024. We are looking forward to celebrating with you and making sure you have everything you need in order to have a memorable evening!

Arrival Instructions
Valet is available at 150 Ellis Street
Upon arrival, please come to the 2nd floor and check-in where a coat check will be available.

Parking Information
We HIGHLY recommend rideshare/taxi, e.g Uber or Lyft.
Some valet parking is available onsite.

Please note that Dreamforce is taking place downtown and we anticipated extra traffic, please plan extra time in your commute.

Event Highlights

During the dinner & program your guests will be seated at tables around a vibrant stage featuring SF Giants’ DJ Umami, Mistress of Ceremonies and ABC7 KGO anchor Kumasi Aaron, our incredible winners of this year’s community and leadership awards as well as hear from our Board Directors, Host Committee and Executive Director. 

The 3-course menu, curated by Chef Fernay McPherson of Minnie Bell’s Soul Movement will feature dishes inspired by local Black chefs as well as organic produce from Yeyi Organics and wine selections from Black winemakers sourced from Alkali Rye.

Take home one-of-a-kind packages curated by the Booker T. Team and our partners! We’re excited to welcome TiWanna Kenney as our auctioneer for the evening.

Before you leave, please visit the registration desk in order to settle any donations made on-site. We will be accepting all credit cards, and should you prefer to close your gift with a check or DAF, please just let our check-out staff know. 

For those of you who want to keep the party going, please join us in Feinstein’s Lounge — on the lobby level — for a special performance by Martin Luther McCoy. The “Afterglow” celebration will continue until 11:30pm.
